Banana Pudding Poke Cake

This is one of my "foodie friends" recipes.  I gotta be honest with you... it totally rocked!!  Stephanie's recipe can be found HERE

If you like "banana cream pie", as much as I do... then this recipe is for you!!
This cake is moist and light and just bursting with "banana cream pie flavor".

I changed it up just a smidgen. I poured on the pudding after poking the holes, then I let the cake chill for about 1 hour.
I then sliced 2 bananas thin, added them directly over the cake and then finished off with the whipped cream.  That was it, that was the only changes I made... I just wanted a cleaner look on top is all!

You can see I decorated it with crushed vanilla wafers and whole ones as well.

Along with maraschino cherries, well just because!!

Then I cut into this delectable dessert and the entire pan disappeared in a matter of moments!!!

If your looking for an absolutely easy to make dessert to bring to a potluck, or just to make for everyday after dinner desserts, here is the recipe for you!!! Also, with all the upcoming holiday's this recipe would be ideal!!

I was thinking this recipe will totally rock as cupcakes.  Can't you see it? Moist bursting with pudding flavor cupcakes, decorated with half a vanilla wafer and a 1/4 of a maraschino cherry along with wafer crumbs of course... YES!!!

So my friends, go and whip yourself up a batch...
I'll just sit back and take another bite!!!

Look at the wonderful pudding peaking thru!!!

Till next time!!

Dishin with Didi
